A little practice, every day
Look at the whole board before moving. Captures are compulsory, including backward captures by ordinary pieces. Kings can travel along an open diagonal, so a distant piece can change a combination. Count what happens after the reply, not just what you take on the first jump.
Select a piece and a destination, drag it, or use the arrow keys and Enter. Finish every jump in a capture chain before judging your move. If a choice misses the line, the board returns to the start of that turn so you can try again. A hint points out the piece to consider; showing the solution plays through the full combination.
Solving on consecutive UTC dates builds a streak. Registered players earn one coin for their first solve of today’s puzzle. Revealing the solution earns no coin and does not extend the streak. Archive puzzles are always free to practice and award no coins.
Reaching the far row crowns a man and ends that capture turn, even when the new king could jump again. Come back for a new position tomorrow, or compare your approach with the explanation on a past puzzle. These positions use the same rules as our live games.
